Oreon HQ Community Guidelines
Oreon HQ includes the official Oreon communication spaces such as the Discord server, forum, and other project discussion platforms.
Respectful participation
Participants are expected to treat others with respect.
Disagreements about technical decisions are normal in open source development. However, personal attacks, harassment, or attempts to escalate conflict are not acceptable.
Constructive criticism is welcome and encouraged. Hostile behavior that disrupts discussion may result in moderation.
Community purpose
The Oreon HQ communities exists primarily to support the development and use of Oreon.
Appropriate topics include:
- development discussions
- user support
- bug reports and troubleshooting
- ideas and suggestions for Oreon
- coordination between contributors & team members
Conversations that intentionally disrupt development or create unnecessary conflict may be moderated.
Moderation
Moderators may take action when necessary to maintain a healthy and productive environment.
Possible moderation actions include:
- verbal warnings
- logged warnings
- temporary mutes
- message removal
- temporary bans
- permanent bans in severe cases
Moderation decisions are made to protect the community and keep development productive.
